Spice of Life
Things will get tasty when India Café celebrates Deepavali Festival of Lights with an outdoor party featuring the restaurant’s award-winning Indian curries, vegetarian dishes and buffet. Adding to the fun are music, a henna tattoo booth and live Bollywood dancing by Willow Chang.
The mini block party is set for Sunday, November 17 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at 600 Kailua Road #129 next to Times Supermarket in Kailua Shopping Center.
“There’s no better way to enjoy Indian culture than with food, music, dance and family,” says India Café owner, Jiva Segaran. “We love giving back to our loyal patrons by letting them and new customers enjoy a feast and … sample the many different flavors that we have to offer.”
New to Indian cuisine? Not to worry, Segaran guarantees you’ll love the buffet—that offers 16 different entrees and chutneys for one low price ($12.95)—and enjoy the music and entertainment.
